They just keep going and going. I would give my eye
for the clocks to stop. For time to stand still, if only for a day.
But would it really be a day?
Could we survive without calculations and parameters?

There's still the sun to help us judge the passing of time.
I don't think that we'd be satisfied with one day , we'd always want it again. For time to just allow us another chance, another choice.
Even as we slap the snooze button we are wishing for time, a little more, to fill up our days.

Thank you! I often think of stopping time so my children (and I) can enjoy their childhood for a little longer. To relish in the fun and innocence of youth. But like you said, would we be left wanting? Thanks for commenting.
