No!
for the clocks to stop. For time to stand still, if only for a day.
But would it really be a day?
Could we survive without calculations and parameters?

This week’s ultimate question was suggested by Erica M, and comes from Alice Munro’s short story A Real Life.
Have all your clocks stopped?

There's still the sun to help us judge the passing of time.
I don't think that we'd be satisfied with one day , we'd always want it again. For time to just allow us another chance, another choice.
Even as we slap the snooze button we are wishing for time, a little more, to fill up our days.
however, this was a thoughtful question to the prompt.
So true. Thanks for commenting.
Thank you! I often think of stopping time so my children (and I) can enjoy their childhood for a little longer. To relish in the fun and innocence of youth. But like you said, would we be left wanting? Thanks for commenting.
Good questions, for certain. We live so much by clocks these days.
Gina' comment reminds me of the time when our ancestors looked at the sun and the shadows to calculate time. Hats off to them.
Yes, there are moments when we wish the clocks would stop and time would stand still.
Lovely post.
Well, you've definitely given us something to think about. :)
A good question in the end-loved this :-)
Thank you. I appreciate you commenting.
Yes, it does! It also makes me wonder how the passing of time affected our ancestors and their feelings. Thanks so much for commenting.
